Our situation on the East Coast of the Gulf of Thailand provides excellent conditions for flat water sailing. Winds tend to be light during the morning and rise early afternoon to 12 -15kts before becoming light again during the late afternoon or early evening. We are somewhat sheltered by the offshore islands which are far enough away to allow for clean wind but close enough to keep the waves low and break the sea swell. Winds are generally cross/onshore or onshore with no shore break. Waves are rarely more than 1m in height. During high season (November – April) winds are generally from the North and tend to be Southerly during the rest of the year. Beginners progress quickly at our station as most days offer conditions suitable for progressing through all stages. Our windsurf instructor, Tao, has been teaching successfully for many years and has many championships to his credit. He is currently Thailand’s slalom champion. It’s our greatest pleasure to watch beginners progress from first steps and past the various milestones that mark progress.
Our boards are Starboard and JP Australia with sails from leading Italian brand Point-7. We have sails available up to 9.2m. and can provide specialized equipment for very experienced sailors by arrangement.

We have three Hobie Cats, a Hobie Wave, Getaway and a T2. There are very few T2’s in SE Asia and we were extremely fortunate that our friends at Bluewave Watersports were able to supply us with the first one. The cats are all maintained in top condition and checked every time they go on the water. Our getaway can carry a family (400KG payload) with ease while the T2 provides a more challenging experience. Trapeze harnesses are provided for this catamaran.

At Demon Dayz we are seagoing professionals and a deeply ingrained safety culture exists at our club. All personal safety equipment is provided and we have a jet-ski and RIB always available on the beach to offer a helping hand back if required. The jet-ski can hit seventy knots so it’s never very far away!!

Sometimes watersport stuff breaks and we’ll never charge when it’s down to fair wear and tear. We try to replace before it breaks but you never know!!
We are proud to be members of WATH (Windsurf Association of Thailand).
